Football - The Ghana 2010/2011 Premier League season ended on Sunday with King Faisal dropping to Division One after 16 years in the elite division. With the league title being settled a few weeks ago when runaway leader Berekum Chelsea reached an unassailable lead, attention switched to the relegation battle and who would be second on the league table. In the end, Kumasi Asante Kotoko beat Madema 1-0 to move to the second spot on better goal difference while King Faisal dropped to the lower division joining Real Tamale United and B.A. Stars.

King Faisal, which needed a comfortable win to outstrip Arsenal in the relegation battle, was shot down 2-1 at home against Hearts of Oak while Arsenal comfortably beat Dwarfs 3-1.
