Promoting investment, construction sector - Promoting and supporting investment in the current stage is considered a priority to broaden the national economy's revenues and create new jobs, affirmed Prime Minister Essam Sharaf. During a meeting Sunday 23/10/2011, Sharaf called to review proposals to support the national and foreign economy.Sharaf also stressed the need to face   obstacles to investment and provide climate conducive to investment. The meeting also highlighted the importance of modernizing laws in this regard  and increasing training programs.

An agreement was reached to swiftly provide the necessary financial resources to finalize the existing projects.The meeting also took up ways to pay the dues of contractors in a way which promote the construction sector. The meeting further pointed out to the need to accelerate reviewing a law to reconcile with investors, as it is crucial in creating a climate of confidence for investors. The meeting was attended by a host of ministers, along with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) governor.
