Cairo, Egypt - African soccer's governing body, CAF, Wednesday conducted the draw for the second round of the African qualifiers for the football event of the 2012 Olympics in London. The draw was held at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, by acting CAF Secretary General Hicham El Amrani, and witnessed by representatives of the countries in the competition. Only 15 of the 16 teams for the second round have emerged, because world soccer's governing body FIFA has postponed the return leg match between Liberia and Côte d’Ivoire to 20 April, in order to allow the Ivorian team to leave its territory to play the match.
