Kinshasa, DR Congo - The president of DR Congo, Joseph Kabila, affirmed on Wednesday his determination to restore peace across the entire country. 'We keep making efforts to establish sustainable peace across the entire national territory,' he declared during the opening ceremony of the 37th session of the Francophonie Parliamentary Organization (APF). 'From year to year, the Congolese people confirm their political maturity and willingness to only legitimise the government coming out of free, fair and democratic elections,' he added.
About 250 parliamentarians from 50 member countries of the International Francophonie Organization (OIF) are taking part in the 37th APF session which will end on Friday.
