Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire - Three journalists have been arrested and detained in Abidjan prison on charges of 'incitement to theft, pillaging and destruction of public properties through the media'.

The journalists are the interim editor in chief Cesar Etou; Secretary-General Didier Depry and head of the political service Boga Sivori, all of the 'Notre Voie' newspaper, which is close to the Ivorian People's Front (FPI) of former President Laurent Gbagbo.

They are expected to appear in court later in the week.
