Khartoum, Sudan - Ahead of semi-final matches for Tuesday at the ongoing second edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Sudan, organisers have warned journalists that possession of accreditation will not give them automatic entrance to the venue of the matches.
A statement from the Confederation of African Football, CAF, said all accredited media representatives must apply for match tickets for the semi final and final matches.
Sunday and Monday are rest days at the competition, following the conclusion of quarter-final matches.
Host Sudan will take on Angola while fellow North Africans Algeria and Tunisia will clash in the two semi-final matches slated for Tuesday.
Two more rest days will follow the semi-final fixtures before the third place and final matches on Friday.
Defending champion DR Congo and host of tournament's first edition Cote d'Ivoire have been eliminated from the championship, designed exclusively for players in Africa's domestic leagues.
