Fraceville, Gabon - Guinea wallops 10-man Botswana 6-1. Guinea trounced hapless Botswana 6-1 in their Group D match played at Franceville on Saturday. Guinea opened the scoreline in the 13th minute through Sadio Diallo but Botsmana levelled through a penalty kick in the 25th minute through Dipsy Selolwane.

This must have enraged Guinea who went on rampage with three goals (Sadio Dialo, 26th, Abdoul Camara, 40th and Ibrahima Traore 45th) to end the first half 4-1.

Botswana lost Patrick Motsepe who was shown a straight red card in the 45th minute for a dangerous tackle.

The second half followed a similar pattern with Guinea adding two more goals through Mamadou Bah in the 84th and Naby Soumah in the 86th minutes.
