Luanda, Angola - Angola, battling to qualify for next year's Africa Cup of Nations, is to invite players to camp 30 Sept. ahead of its final qualifying match against Guinea Bissau 8 Oct.
Vice chairman of the Angola Football Federation (FAF), José Luís Prata, announced the decision while assessing Sunday's 2-0 victory over Uganda.
He said the Angolan team would depart for the West African nation six days before the match, as an indication of how seriously it is taking the tie.
He said the preparation programme for the match had already been drafted and handed to the chairman of the Angolan Football Federation.
Angola is second in group J of the qualifiers on 9 points, one behind group leader Uganda, and still has a chance of qualifying for the finals in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
