Basketball-Africa - Angola's basketball team’s point-guard Carlo Morais is the lead scorer in the ongoing African basketball championship (Afrobasket2011) taking place in Madagascar, with an average of 24 points per game.

The Angolan player, who is 1.93 metres tall, took over from Moroccan Abdelhakim on Saturday.

The first phase of the championship rounds off Monday with Angola taking on Morocco and Senegal tackling Chad in group B, while Group D will feature Rwanda/Togo and Central African Republic/Tunisia.
