Egypt will seek to become the second African team to reach the round of 16 when it takes on Austria in their final group E match in Colombia's ancient city of Cartagena Thursday, at the ongoing 18th FIFA Under-20 World Cup in the South American nation.

A victory for the Egyptians will seal their progression, since they already have four points in the kitty.

However, Egypt will need to approach the match with caution, since five of their players have picked up one yellow card each.

Another yellow card for any of Ahmed Taufik, Ahmed Hegazi, Mohamed Hamdy, Mohamed El Neny and Omar Gaber will mean missing the round of 16 clash - if the team advances.

Nigeria is the only African team to have reached the next round, after emphatic wins against Guatemala (5-0) and Croatia (5-2).

Cameroon and Mali, the two other African representatives in Colombia, are struggling in their groups.
