Maroc-Telecom: Moroccan government wants to sell shares at Maroc-Telecom

Moroccan government wants to sell shares at Maroc-Telecom - The Moroccan government has launched a bid for tenders for the sale of 7% of its 30% shares in the Maroc-Telecom group, the Moroccan ministry of Economy and Finance said Wednesday.

The Moroccan government holds 30% shares in Maroc-Telecom while 53% is held by the French group Vivendi Universel and 17% floated in the Casablanca stock exchange and Euronext-Paris.

'The bid for tenders is aimed at choosing a business bank which will be in charge of the valorization of Maroc-Telecom on the basis of the various financial evaluation methods', the ministry said in a communiqué.
