Bamako, Mali - Libyan Foreign Minister Ashors S. Ben Khaial has assured of a continued strong cooperation between his country and Mali.
He spoke here on Wednesday after an audience with the Malian President, Amadou Toumani Toure, to whom he handed a message from the president of the Libyan National Transition Council (NTC).
'Upon assessing the projects between the two countries, we will try to preserve and protect what is good. We will also discuss the problems facing our two peoples,' according to the minister, who headed a large delegation of the NTC.
'We will work to rebuild the country by relying on increased oil production and release of funds frozen after the crisis,' he said.
