Luanda, Angola - Citing Angola's successes at recent friendly matches, striker Yano said the capacity shown by the Sable Antelopes during preparations for Orange African Nations Cup (CAN 2013) will be put to test when the tournament runs from 19 January to 10 February in South Africa.
In an interview to ANGOP in Johannesburg after a training session, Yano said his team had prepared well for the tournament and was ready to defend the colours of the Angolan national flag.
Angola, in group A of the tournament, will face Morocco on 19 January, the opening day of Africa's biggest football event. Hosts South Africa and Cape Verde are also in that group.
In its three friendly matches, Angola defeated Botswana 2-0, beat Zâmbia (2-0) and Morocco (2-1) in Johannesburg.
