Luanda, Angola - Angolan President José Eduardo dos Santos, Thursday dismissed the Minister of Energy and Water, Emanuela Bernardeth Afronso Vieria Lopes, according to a press statement Thursday from the Civil Office of the Presidency in Angola.

According to the release, the President appointed João Baptista Borges, former secretary of State for Energy and Water, to replace the sacked minister.
