Tripoli, Libya - At least 46 Libyan families, who were forced by the current crisis facing their country to flee to Egypt, returned to Libya Friday. The return follows the appeal to Libyans who ran to Egypt and Tunisia to return to their country, according to the Libyan General People's Committee for External Relations and International Cooperation.
The Libyan authorities had, in a statement issued on 23 May, urged the Libyan families who flee to neighboring countries, to contact the Libyan consulates in such countries in order to arrange their safe return home.
