Tunis, Tunisia - Espérance Tunis in Radès (near Tunis), Saturday walloped the Senegalese team, Djaraaf 5-0 as part of the first leg tie of the eighth round of the African football champions league. The tie was played behind closed doors, as the Tunisian team was under a sanction as a result of incidents that marred the final of the C1 lost last year to All-Puissant Mazembe of the Democratic Republic Congo. The Tunisian goals were scored by Dramane Traoré (10th minute), Osama Draragi (11th, 31st minutes), Driss Mhirsi (42 minute), Youssef Msakni (50 minute).
The Senegalese team, which felt the let-up of Tunisian players following the fifth goal, mounted pressure on the Tunisian goalkeeper but could not convert the opportunities.
