Nouakchott, Mauritania - The Supreme Press and Audiovisual Authority (HAPA) in Mauritania is inviting tenders fot the establishment of 5 private and commercial radio stations and 5 television channels'.
'The liberalization of the audiovisual space in Mauritania is aimed at initiating a new dynamic to contribute efficiently to the consolidation of democracy and to win bets in the future,' according to HAPA president, the communication minister, Mr. Hamdi Ould Mahjoub.
These radio stations and television channels are expected to start broadcasting at the beginning of the year 2012
