FIBA-Africa accredits 100 journalists for 2011 Afrobasket in Mali - About 100 journalists have been accredited by the Secretariat of the FIBA-Africa to cover the 22nd edition of the African Women's Basketball Championships (Afrobasket), scheduled for 23 September to 2 October in Bamako, the Malian capital, PANA learnt here from organizers.

At the level of radio and print media, only one journalist will be accredited per body in accordance with the demands of FIBA-Africa, they said.

In addition, the National organizing Commission announced the arrival of 200 Ivorian fans to support their team.

Other countries like Senegal have also announced that their supporters will be in Bamako to cheer their teams to victory.
